Dear Church Family,
Many have asked about how you can help after the earthquake devastation and loss of life in Nepal. The Bradley Baptist Association and First Baptist Cleveland have been blessed to develop many relationships in Nepal over years and have been working with our Southern Baptist International Mission Board Personnel, the Nepal Baptist Churches Association (NBCA), local Nepali pastors, and church planters known as "Master Trainers."
A strategy has been developed to assist all of them financially and ask you to pray about how you might help in this effort. Regarding any donations, we will distribute the funds in the following way:
60% of the funds received will immediately go to the Baptist Global Response, which is already on the ground in Nepal, making assessments and determining the best ways to help in all parts of the affected areas.
20% of the funds received will immediately go to our IMB personnel, local pastors and master trainers we know who have been badly impacted by the earthquake. These funds will be allocated through First Baptist Cleveland's direct associations with the NBCA, these pastors, master trainers and our IMB personnel in Nepal.
20% of the funds will go to our Nepal IMB personnel who will be following up long-term with pastors, master trainers, churches and church members in the months to follow in both spiritual and physical arenas.
Checks may be made to the Bradley Baptist Association. Please indicate in the memo field of any check that the donation is for Nepal Earthquake Assistance. You may also mail them to us at the address below.
In His Grace,
Bradley Baptist Association
